A Wonderful Donation from The High Street Club
15 March 2026
We are absolutely delighted to share some wonderful news with our members. On Saturday 14th March 2026, The Swindon Down’s Syndrome Group was honoured to receive a truly generous donation of £3,500 from The High Street Club in Old Town — and what a special occasion it was!
We were warmly welcomed to the prestigious Coe Capital Suite, at Swindon Town Football Club where the cheque was presented to us by two of Swindon Town’s most beloved legends, Don Rogers, John Trollope. To be in the company of such iconic figures, and to receive such incredible support, made the occasion all the more memorable for everyone involved. Lane and Oliver were thrilled to receive the cheque and we thank Daphne for her kind words from the High Street Club Old Town
This kind of generosity means the world to us. Every pound donated goes directly towards supporting our members to access Speech Therapy here in Swindon and the surrounding area. To everyone at The High Street Club — thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness and commitment to supporting your local community is truly inspiring, and we are so grateful for your belief in the work we do.
