The DSActive group provides weekly football training, term-time only for children aged 5-18 with Down's Syndrome. DSActive is a new adventure for us but will open the children up to taking part in competition with other large Football Teams in the same position as us.
Training sessions are held at Haydon Wick Sports Centre on Wednesdays from 5-6pm. Term time only. Please feel free to come along and try us out, you need to bring a drink and wear suitable clothing for indoor use. No studs please. Trainers only for a sports hall.
The cost of each session is £3.00 and we ask for fee's to be paid each half term if you decide to join us.

Gym Sessions Les Slinn gym sessions for children and young adults with Down's Syndrome held at Les's gym in Swimming
Swimming sessions at the Thamesdown Hydrotherapy pool are continuing on Monday evenings from 6 -7pm on a fortnightly basis. The times include changing time. They are open to all ages but all children must be accompanied by an adult and remain their responsibility at all times.
The sessions start with a period of coaching by Vicky Hunt, tailored to individual levels of ability. This is followed by free time where people can continue practicing what they have learnt or just play with balls etc.
The cost per session will be £1.00 for the person with Down’s Syndrome and £2.00 for the parent/carer accompanying.
Payment is normally due for sets of five sessions. The current dates are:
18th February (2013); 4th March; 18th March; 15th April; 29th April (NB No session on Easter Monday)
Cheques payable to the “Swindon Down's Syndrome Group” can be given to John at the session.
