Swindon Downs Syndrome Group has been selected as one of this year’s beneficiaries to receive funding and support through Global’s Make Some Noise.
The Swindon Downs Syndrome Group are a parent-led charity supporting people with Down’s Syndrome, their families, carers and all those with an interest in Down’s Syndrome in Swindon and the surrounding area. They provide support and information, weekly speech and language therapy, resource packs, training days, sports lessons, coffee afternoons, outings, trips and parties.
Global’s Make Some Noise was created by Global, the media & entertainment group. The charity unites all of Global’s brands, including Heart, Capital, Capital XTRA, Radio X, Classic FM, LBC, Smooth and Gold, to give a voice to small charities and projects across the UK which struggle to raise awareness.
On FridayOctober 7th 2016, Global will unite its brands and friends from the world of media and entertainment to give a voice tosmall charities and projects across the UK that struggle to raise awareness.
