Come along to our quarterly jumble sales at St Barnabas Church in Gorse Hill to help raise raise funds to keep the day-today running of the group operating.
Our sales are a great opportunity to buy clothes and shoes, bric-a-brac, books, children’s toys and you can even stop for a home-made cake and cup of tea!
We host these every three months and they would not be possible without the help of all the volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at one of our sales please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have any unwanted items that you think we could sell at our jumble sales, we would be truly grateful for any donations. You can bring along jumble on the morning of the sale, before 9.30am, or if you would like us to collect you can contact us at email@example.com
Our next Jumble Sale is Saturday 10 February 2018
How the money raised helps
We want people with Down’s syndrome to have the same opportunities as everyone else. We aim to support people with Down’s syndrome, providing information, help and activities to them and their families in Swindon and the surrounding area as well as raising awareness of Down’s syndrome in the community. We offer support from the moment a child is born right through to adulthood.
The money we raise goes directly to funding the services and activities we run. donations. In order to continue to support our members as we do, we need to raise around £39,000 a year. Find out more about how we support people with Down’s syndrome by exploring our website.
