- If you have a complaint about the sessions, group set-up, or assessment please contact the Speech and Language Therapy Group's Speech therapist.
- If you have a complaint about your child's statutory provision please contact your child's statutory speech therapist.
- If you have a general complaint about the Speech and Language Therapy Group please contact the Chair of the Swindon Down's Syndrome Group or a member of the Speech and Language Therapy Committee.
- If you feel your complaint has not been resolved or dealt with to your satisfaction please write to the Swindon Down's Syndrome Group's Speech and Language Therapy Group's secretary who will then take the complaint to the Speech and Language Therapy Group committee. The committee will discuss the complaint and put the reply to you in writing within 28 days.
- If you still feel that your complaint has not been resolved or dealt with to your satisfaction please reply within 14 days, in writing detailing your concerns and the matter will then be discussed with the Trustees of the Swindon Down's Syndrome Group and the advice of the Director of Speech and Language Therapy will be sought. You will also be given the opportunity to attend the meeting, with someone to support you, to present the case if you so wish. The Trustees will then reply to you in writing within 28 days.
- If you still wish to take the matter further the Trustees will supply you with contact details for the Charities Commission.
- All complaints will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
